Ann Arbor

I haven't been to Michigan since last December. I can't recall when the last time I was here in the middle of the summer. The past two days have had some amazing weather...the kind you just don't get in Singapore and the kind we won't have in North Carolina for at least another month. Gosh...I wish I could bottle this up and take it with me where ever I go....
Yesterday, I met up with some friends in Ann Arbor. A group of people, one of which I have known since I was quite young and the others I have just recently become acquainted with via Flickr and Facebook. They are all incredibly talented artists but more importantly they are kind, generous, supportive, caring and just plain amazing people. The kind of people this world needs more of... I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon/evening with them wandering around Ann Arbor.
They took me to some of their favorite spots to shoot pictures and here are some of the things we saw:
You know how I was just talking about the amazing weather? Check out this blue sky:
We also wandered around the Law Quad on U of M's campus. There are some amazing old buildings and we had some great lighting from the setting sun.
We were able to get inside the law library. Holy cow...an amazing building...I cannot imagine being a student and having the opportunity to study in this place. I think you gain a couple of IQ points just by walking inside here:
I had a fabulous time and can't wait for the next time I get to go out and get some inspiration from Tina, Cherie, Rhonda, and Chris. Thanks guys!
