In the land of rice...

where people eat rice with almost all meals...it is almost impossible to find rice krispies cereal.  This is very frustrating because I had planned to make rice krispies treats to take on a boating outing we are going on tomorrow with my friends.  We found rice krispies but they were only sold in the tiny boxes that you get at a hotel or on an airplane.  We toyed with buying enough of them to make a whole pan but opted against it.  Instead, we are taking a ginger fruit salad (Alan had already prepped that already) and a variety of store-bought cookies. 

When I have more time I'll go on a hunt for rice krispies...
