Alan and I had a quick stopover in Ho Chi Minh City on the first part of our vacation.  We were only there for about a day and a half but managed to fit in the tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels and head out to the Mekong Delta.  It is similar to the trip that I did when I was in Ho Chi Minh City the first time.  We had beautiful weather and while I had been on the tour before it was fun to see Alan experience it for the first time.

Alan tried to squeeze into one of the entrances to the tunnels...

And even crawled through the tunnels...

I'm still amazed that people lived underground in these tunnels.  Especially since they have now been widened in order to accommodate us bigger Westerners during the tour.

When we went out on the river tour we had a huge boat all to ourselves.  The boat captain had his daughter on the boat with him and it was so cute to watch the two of them interacting...
