Ziajian niu

 

Zinajian niu or goodbye to the year of the ox!  The ox is my year in the Chinese lunar calendar.  Here is the description for those born in the year of the ox:

For those of you who know me pretty well I have been told that this is a pretty accurate description.  It is actually amazing how accurate most of the descriptions for the people born during the lunar years are. 

This morning we explored the Singapore Philatelic Museum.  It was fun to see all of the stamps from Singapore and also from around the world.  Since we are in the midst of the Lunar New Year festivities there was an exhibit on the lunar signs.  This is what was listed for an ox in the coming year of the tiger:

The second part of that is pretty interesting given recent events.  And...I am not at all complaining about the top part either...will need to schedule a meeting with my boss for next week!
